BIOGRAPHY

A Life Aligned (stylized as: ALA) is a new Christian metalcore outfit that carefully borders on what could- and should not be. Whether it’s their music, its contents or agewise: the quartet doesn’t shun to do it a little differently. In the end it’s all about crafting solid songs, playing action-packed shows and making known the age old message of hope.

Formed in 2022 the foursome consist of vocalist Donovan Pinontoan, guitarist Jasper Verhorst, bass player Maarten Bode and drummer Timo Kalsbeek. Being an Enschede-based band, their first EP ‘The Fill’ is born on the same grounds. Together with producer Lennart Brugman the band took to the studio to ready their first set of songs. Ivan Panferov, who already worked with heavyweights such as Slaughter To Prevail, has mixed and prepared The Fill for it’s release.  

ALA is currently working on new material as well as hammering out their live shows. The band has joined Metropool Enschede’s Lenteoffensief, where they were given the opportunity to finetune their identity and live performance. Nearing the end of ‘23, the band already has made several stages their own.
